Description: A rhapsodic narrative in music and images about Stockholm, “the city of youths and old Östermalm ladies”. Well-known sites and monuments pass by including the Strömmen river, the Royal palace, the Slussen locks, Skansen, Humlegården, Gustaf Adolf Square, Gröna Lund, Karlberg Palace and the Carl Milles statues on the Strömmen river parterre and Hötorget Square Dusty monuments and sleepy church visits are contrasted with dance halls and fairgrounds, women practising diving, synchronised swimming and gymnastics, children playing, and a man going against police orders and bathing in the Molin fountain in Kungsträdgården. The old Stockholm is accompanied by classical music, and the modern city by jazzy tones.
